Welcome to THE WELL  --  The student ministry of First Baptist North Spartanburg 
 
Teenagers today are thirsty for love, acceptance, and lives that have meaning and purpose. God’s Word tells us that the only way this thirst can be quenched is through the living water of Jesus Christ. It is our desire to see students experience the love of Jesus, and help them walk in all His ways. Our ministry is designed to encourage, challenge, and equip students to make a difference in their world. Whether it’s our Sunday Morning Bible Fellowship classes, Nicaragua mission projects, weekly Rush Hour program, or Impact Weekend, our goal is to meet students where they are, and help them move towards God's plan for their life. 
 
 
Senior High Weekly Schedule   
  • Bible Fellowship meets on Sunday morning and is where students are encouraged and challenged by God's word.  Bible Fellowship is all about filling your life with the truth that will propel you towards Christ. 
    Sundays at 8:15 am & 9:30 am in “The Well”.
  • Rush Hour is a place where you can be yourself in an environment created just for you. At Rush Hour you'll always find great music, teaching you can understand and relate to, hilarious videos and games, and dramas that will make you think. 
    Rush Hour meets every Wednesday night at 6:30pm in “The Well”.
  • D-Groups exist to lead students to the next level in their walk with Christ.  D-Groups consist of one adult leader with 4-6 students that meet on Wednesday nights after Rush Hour.  Adult leaders help students grow in their faith by challenging them in Bible study, scripture memory, accountability and service to others.
    D-Groups meet every Wednesday night after Rush Hour
  • Youth Choir:  Sundays at 4:45 pm in the main choir room
 
Senior High Annual events
Winter Meltdown (January): Holiday ski trip that lets you get away from it all, hangout with your friends, and recharge your spiritual batteries.
 
Impact Weekend (March): Discipleship weekend that helps students build meaningful friendships, and go deeper in His Word. 
 
Mission Nicaragua (June): Sharing the love of Christ with the people of Nicaragua.   
 
The Launch (August): Back-to-school weekend focused on team building, and developing spiritual disciplines.
